Welcome to our frequently asked questions page. Here we have tried to answer some of the questions that our book club members have been asking or guide you to a better explanation.

  • How can I join in the discussion? 

Our discussions take place primarily on Twitter although we would advise that you sign up to our blog too. That way you won’t miss out on blog posts, book announcements and other exciting things. 

Our Twitter handle is @ediblebookclub and hash tag is #ediblebooks.

  • I am new to Twitter and could do with a little help.

If you need help with Twitter, would like to set up an account, find people to follow and learn about hash-tags then we have put together some simple guidelines and help techniques which you can find here.

  • I don’t want to participate on Twitter, can I join in elsewhere? 

Yes, you can comment on the blog against the posts. All of our Tweets are publicised to Facebook too but remember, Twitter is where the conversation really starts. 

  • How will I know what we are discussing each week? 

The reading and discussion schedule is set out in the Book of the Month post and our participation guidelines are featured on our How the Club Works page.

  • I have a book that I would love to read with the group, how can I nominate it?

The nomination process is explained on the How the Club Works page. 

  • What should I discuss?

Its your group so you can discuss what you like. We will send out Tweets to prompt a discussion but if you have a point you want to discuss, then put out a Tweet. Others are sure to follow. Just remember to use the #ediblebooks hash tag so we pick it up or Tweet it directly to @ediblebookclub.

  • Google+.

Edible Books has a page on Google+. In the future we hope to be able to host live discussion groups via Google Hangout. Stay tuned!
